At Guilford Hockey Club, it is our joy and privilege to support your child to make the most in the coming season by helping them to have their best season yet.
But, we need your continued partnership to do this.
Their best season yet is entirely possible through guided conversations that have the power to shape their futures. And those conversations can be best approached using a new program called ‘Their Best Season Yet’. It’s a program that gives parents and children the chance to start the season in the right direction together and with a clearer understanding of what’s required over the coming weeks and months.
‘Their best season yet’ does this by giving your children the opportunity to have deeper key conversations with you and so enables you and us to support them by getting better outcomes.
Coaches have helped shape this program. Their input has supported the program to help yield the conversations that coaches really want their athletes to be having because with open dialogue your child can:
– Start the season at pace.
– Gain the best chance to build on last year
– Minimise the impact of COVID on your child’s progress.
Recent feedback of a webinar using just some of these tools for the parents of Premiership Football teams and parents of national age-group teams showed that 100% of parents said they would recommend this material to other parents.
